BACK STORY:
This event has graced our streets for four years in a row. Even in the pouring rain in 2024, dozens of carolers showed up dressed in Holiday Cheer, and sang their hearts out. Neighbors slowed to a snail's pace as they passed in cars. Others opened their doors to enjoy the holiday songs. This is truly "Fun For The Whole Family!" As the carolers make their way to the Hamilton Field History Museum for hot chocolate, holiday sweets, face painting, games, and a raffle. Maybe next year we can have a Santa to receive Christmas wishes from the audience.

"I love this event in the middle of the Christmas holiday. And this year, the professional carolers were absolutely amazing." ~ Ray
A Little History About The Museum
Built on reclaimed marshland near Novato, Hamilton Field is a California History Museum providing an intriguing glimpse into California’s airfield history.
Construction on the building began in 1932Â during the Great Depression and was named after World War I flying ace Lloyd Hamilton who was killed in action in France. It operated as an Air force base from 1935 to 1974, first as an Army Air Corps field and later as a station for the U.S. Air Force.
The building combines several architectural styles, including Spanish and renaissance. Inside are hundreds of artifacts from the base’s heyday, including photos, uniforms, pins, medals and a cockpit simulator. There is also a library and research center full of books, videos and posters.
Lovingly created by enthusiast volunteers, Hamilton Field History Museum still actively seeks new items from the public to place on display.
